While the Rams delivered bad injury news Friday about starting rookie running back Cam Akers (he is out against Buffalo on Sunday), they are hopeful about cornerback Darious WIlliams being able to face the Bills.

Williams is listed as questionable to play Sunday. He was held out of practice Wednesday with a reported ankle injury. Friday, it was reported he has an Achilles injury.
Sean McVay says @RamsNFL rookie RB Cam Akers is OUT for Week 3 at Buffalo (ribs).

CB Darious Williams (Achilles) is questionable.
Regardless, it is a positive sign that Rams coach Sean McVay is hopeful about Williams playing. The Rams will need him against Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen and the potent Buffalo pass offense.
Williams has played well thus far this season. He had a key interception in the Rams’ Week 2 37-19 win at the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He is a big part of what the Rams’ defense does in the passing game, so McVay surely hopes Williams continues to improve up until game time.
