After two games, one at home and one away, the Rams are 2-0 while keeping both the Cowboys and Eagles below 20 points in what has been an impressive start for first-year defensive coordinator Brandon Staley.

In Week 1, the offense rushed for a pair of touchdowns and threw zero touchdowns, which was a bit opposite from what most thought this team was going to do in 2020. But in Week 2, they played an overall very complete game by throwing for three scores and rushing for two more behind 191-yard effort on the ground.

The most surprising thing about last Sunday was that they had that much offensive success without Robert Woods needing to carry any of the load. He finished with just two catches for 14 yards, although he did add a short rushing score on an end around. The latest performance went a long way in showing the NFL that the Rams are a much more well-rounded team than given credit for throughout this offseason.

Will the success continue against a Bills offense that won’t stop churning out the yards? We’ll have to wait until Sunday to find out.
