Pod-TST: Previewing Buffalo with a Bills fan

A look ahead to Sunday’s new look, new feeling Bills franchise

The LA Rams are hoping to start 3-0 for the third time in as many years, a goal that will be accomplished if they beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The Bills are trying to start 3-0 for the first time since 2008, and prior to that they hadn’t been 3-0 since 1992. Buffalo has as many 3-0 starts in the last 28 years as Sean McVay does since the show You first aired in September of 2018.

The Bills have had five 2-0 starts in the century, which means they’re 1-3 in the third game of those season leading up to this Sunday. It’s a new Bills team, new Bills franchise, new Bills belief with Josh Allen and Sean McDermott.

To dig into that belief, I invited friend from the UCB theater in Los Angeles and Bills fan Max Lasser (@Max_Lasser) onto Pod-TST to tell me his thoughts on the team he grew up with ... in South Carolina. Which is also where he went to school with Jadeveon Clowney. We talk about that, Allen, Buffalo’s defense, their rising young talent and much more on the podcast this week.
