The Los Angeles Rams placed guard Joseph Noteboom on injured reserve, keeping him off the 53-man roster for at least three weeks. Noteboom left last week’s game against the Eagles and was replaced by David Edwards, who will start against the Bills at left guard this Sunday. The Rams promoted linebacker Natrez Patrick as a corresponding move and also signed guard Jeremiah Kolone to take Patrick’s place on the practice squad.

— Los Angeles Rams (@RamsNFL) September 24, 2020
• Placed G Joe Noteboom on IR
• Signed LB Natrez Patrick to 53-man roster from practice squad
• Signed G Jeremiah Kolone to practice squad
Patrick was activated from the practice squad against Philadelphia, playing in seven special teams snaps. He reverted back to the practice squad but is now on the 53-man roster and gives Sean McVay a special teams player and linebacker depth. Patrick played in 12 games last season, working on 195 special teams snaps.
Noteboom played in 40 snaps against the Eagles before exiting with a calf strain. He will spend at least three weeks on injured reserve and much like in 2019, that will give Edwards and opportunity to prove himself as a starter.
The Rams play the Bills at 10 AM PT on Sunday.
