Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers left the field on the team’s first drive of their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Akers appeared to come down awkwardly on his shoulder and that was the part of his body he seemed to be favoring as he walked to the sideline on his own power and took a seat on the bench to be evaluated, but the team listed him as questionable to return with a ribs injury.
Update: Akers has been ruled OUT for the rest of the game

Akers had three carries for 13 yards during his short time in the game.
The Rams brought Malcolm Brown in first after Akers left the game.
Darrell Henderson is active this week after missing the end of training camp with a hamstring injury and playing only a few snaps in the team’s Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys. LA also has undrafted free agent rookie Xavier Jones active for the game. Rookie Raymond Calais is inactive. If Akers returns to the game shortly, we’ll update.
