The Los Angeles Rams did more than beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, they also debuted their $5 billion stadium and amusement shopping park and a cornucopia of NFL accouterments like jerseys and helmets and logos.
The Rams maligned logo and lukewarm reception on jerseys hit the national airwaves on Sunday and while SoFi Stadium was a safe bet to draw praise (albeit only from people who profit from a successful run at SoFi Stadium since no fans are able to attend the games yet) because the world’s most expensive venue should be impressive, everything else seemed fair game.
Los Angeles played their first game at SoFi in “bone” and reviews were not all kind.

After seeing them in game... the Rams jerseys are still awful

The new Rams uniforms and helmet are supposed to be a bold step forward. pic.twitter.com/R4CZrQfZeP

All they had to do was take the throwbacks, add the new helmet, and *poof* you had the perfect rams uniform. But no.... pic.twitter.com/AFIieL5gTl

Rams have a great uniform and helmet history. Rams uniforms are horrendous. Looks like they were dig out of storage from Holovak&Couglin, Tony Lucci’s or Musinsky’s

However, I can’t really control what Twitter decides to show me when I search for results on “Rams jerseys” and similar and people do tend to say tweet things that fall in line with the crowd, so perhaps a large percentage of Rams fans don’t feel as negatively about the uniforms and accessories and whatnot.
There was also a lot of noise seemingly made about LA’s logo at midfield. At least, in some texts I received and a few tweets. Here’s a glimpse:

Some were asking to see the blue uniforms, which can obviously be next week when they are on the road, and that’s maybe the extent of initial thoughts on the Rams new digs and digs.
I do think this “7” is messed up though. A “7” isn’t supposed to point like an arrow. This “7” is too top heavy! The top-slash needs to be cut by 50-percent and the whole number needs better posture.

That’s my only criticism of anything.
