2020 is going to go down as the least fan-friendly NFL season of all-time. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it seems unlikely any fans will be allowed in the new SoFi Stadium for LA Rams games this season and there won’t be any in-person fan events at training camp in Thousand Oaks, California.

Yet, the Rams have come up with a fun way to get fans involved and will allow them to interact with the biggest names on the roster and there will even be chances to win great prizes. The team has announced its #RamsCamp Virtual Tailgate on Sunday at 6 p.m. PT. Fans can register here.

It looks like it’s going to be a pretty sweet deal. The event will feature Rams’ stars defensive tackle Aaron Donald, quarterback Jared Goff and defensive back Jalen Ramsey. Donald, Goff and Ramsey? Can you get any more star studded than that?

Don’t underestimate the presence of Ramsey being involved in this event, either. The Rams are trying to get a contract extension done with the star, who they surrendered two first-round draft picks to the Jacksonville Jaguars last October for. If the Rams were planning to let Ramsey walk in free agency next March, they wouldn’t be making him part of their marketing plan. Ramsey will be part of the Rams’ future.

What would be a better time than to announce a contract extension than during a fan event? I don’t know anything, but just saying.
