One of the more dramatic moments of the debut of Hard Knocks this week was when it was revealed LA Rams’ rookie pass rusher Terrell Lewis had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Surely, one of the storylines in next week’s version of the training camp show will be the Alabama product’s return to the practice field. The Rams activated the third-round pick from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. He was on the list for 14 days.

With training camp slowly ramping up, Lewis has plenty of time to catch up. The team just started working in helmets this week and will soon start having padded practices. Lewis is expected to vie for playing time as a rookie.

Meanwhile, the Rams made a couple of minor roster moves on Friday.

Jake Gervase was cut July 25. He spent some time on the 53-man roster last season as an undrafted rookie. Clearly, the Rams want to take another look at him. Brandon Polk was an undrafted free agent from Penn State this season.
