On Thursday, the NFL announced the 2020 post-game guidelines to promote social distancing in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Among the changes this season are the omission of post-game handshakes, jersey swaps and open locker rooms for media interviews.

It will be a new NFL world for sure ... here are five 2020 Rams’ post-game moments I will miss:

McVay-Shanahan hugs:
Rams’ coach Sean McVay and Niners coach Kyle Shanahan are close friends and have worked together. They’re always guaranteed for providing some good bro hugs after games — but it won’t happen this season. But neither McVay nor Shanahan are going anywhere anytime soon, so when it’s safe, their hugs will continue.

Jalen Ramsey locker-room interviews:
The Rams’ cornerback is a quote machine and is often terrific in post-game interviews. Sure, he will probably do some Zoom interviews after games, but those are more controlled than the locker-room interviews, so the quotes may be less spicy.

Goff-Brady moment:
The Rams visit Tampa Bay in November and this will be the first meeting between Rams’ quarterback Jared Goff and Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady since the Super Bowl almost two years ago. This could also be their final meeting ever. I want to see that QB hug.

McVay-Belichick reunion:
McVay and New England coach Bill Belichick will also meet for the first time since the Super Bowl in December. Belichick took McVay to school in that game but there is mutual respect, yet we won’t get that Hoodie handshake.

Mack-Donald jersey swap:
Rams’ defensive lineman Aaron Donald and Chicago pass-rusher Khalil Mack are 2014 draft classmates and are among the top defenders in the NFL. This would be a classic jersey-swap photo op.
