For the best to get better, they must consult and learn from their peers, or even the few who may still be above them in the hierarchy of things.
For Aaron Donald, that means taking part in the premiere event of the offseason for the NFL’s most-elite pass-rushing specialists.
Several years ago, Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller started hosting his self-named pass rush summit to bring together the best of the best when it comes to getting after the quarterback. Together, the group helps mentor the younger generation of talent while simultaneously working synergistically to make each other better against the common enemy - the offensive lineman.

Miller and Donald will be joined by a litany of household names in the NFL, including the Joey and Nick Bosa, Shaq Barrett, Khalil Mack, Arik Armstead, Frank Clark, Myles Garrett, and Chandler Jones.
This even became so popular that highly-touted offensive line trainer Duke Manyweather put together his own summit for offensive lineman in order to combat Miller and his horde of edge rushers. Manyweather started “OL Masterminds” over two years ago with the help of First-Team All-Pro offensive tackles Lane Johnson (Eagles) and Mitchell Schwartz (Chiefs).
This year, the pass rush summit will be virtual due to the ongoing pandemic, but that’s nothing new to NFL players as they’ve been completely virtual for the last few months. They may not get to perform and drill some of the material being studied at the event, but knowing the type of talent that will be in attendance, I’m sure they’ll find a way get their points across.
