On Thursday afternoon, Field Yates reported that former Rams defensive back Marqui Christian has been suspended for the first two weeks of the regular season.

Earlier this offseason, Christian was unfortunately on the wrong side of a free agent deal that fell through with the New York Jets. He, along with cornerback Darqueze Dennard, are both still free agents after initially agreeing to a free agent contract.

Over the last four seasons, Christian recorded 83 total stops to go along with three pass breakups.

The 5’11, 207-pound defender was selected in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft out of Midwestern State University. Christian was a Division II All-American and a three-time First Team All-Conference selection.
