On Thursday, in a recent exercise by Bleacher Reports senior draft analyst, Matt Miller took to ranking the NFL’s top QB-WR duos. For this list, Miller used a “composite score” to determine the rankings, which is a number created with data pulled from Pro Football Focus, Football Outsiders, and his own research.
Who are the NFL’s best QB-WR duos? No. 1 should be obvious. https://t.co/hfq5B9dyA9

Unfortunately, you have to wait until the second half of the rankings to find the Rams, who are represented by Jared Goff and his top wideout Cooper Kupp. Together, Goff and Kupp combine for a total composite score of 166. That score is split between Goff’s 79 and Kupp’s 87. With those scores, Goff comes in as the 16th-ranked quarterback and Kupp falls in line as the 16th-ranked receiver on the list.
The Rams ended up falling one spot ahead of the cross-town Chargers at #20 (Justin Herbert-Keenan Allen) and come in right behind the Cincinnati Bengals (Joe Burrow-A.J. Green). Former Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks (85), who is now with the Houston Texans, landed at #9 with his new quarterback, Deshaun Watson (88).
The number one duo on his list is unsurprisingly Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill with a combined composite score of 195. Mahomes has the only 99 score for a quarterback on the list while Hill chips in with an elite 96.
What do you all think of Miller’s rankings? Are the Rams too high, too low, or just right?
