For the purposes of expressing several thoughts about the selection of running back Cam Akers by the Los Angeles Rams with the 52nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft which was conducted in a remote format for the first time in history, I have recorded a podcast. Hardware and software was used to record the podcast and then I uploaded it to a website. That website gave me a link which I used to embed the show into this article, which also contains the words that I am writing right now.
On with the show.
In this 15 minute monologue, I discuss why the selection of Akers sounds like a good move if the Rams are looking to get an immediate upgrade for their offense perhaps rather than focusing on a long-term picture, which is always difficult in the case of a running back. I wrote down more thoughts here.
