The L.A. Rams have selected Florida wide receiver Van Jefferson with the 57th pick in the NFL draft.
HERE: VAN JEFFERSON DRAFT GRADE
Jefferson, 6’1, 200 pounds, started his career at Ole Miss and spent the last two years at Florida. He had 49 catches for 657 yards and six touchdowns as a fifth-year senior last season. The Rams clearly see him as a potentially great weapon for Jared Goff and the offense next season and beyond, when Cooper Kupp is set to be a free agent in 2021 and Robert Woods in 2022.
Of course, LA traded away Brandin Cooks for pick 57 from the Houston Texans, which is now where they’ve selected Jefferson.
