As the weekend wound down, Rams fans got a surprise via the Twitter account of veteran NFL scribe Charles Robinson in the form of a logo redesign.
You’ve surely seen it by now, but here goes:
So this #Rams new logo hat that leaked on Reddit is legitimate. That’s the new logo. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/mTZMeseS2f

Um, yeah.
The Rams themselves have not confirmed that this is, indeed, the new logo. Even if it is truly affiliated with the club, it could be a secondary logo and not intended to replace the iconic horns on their helmets. Whatever it is, it’s not getting early rave reviews.
the Rams' new alternate (?) logo leaked this weekend, and hooooo buddy does it look like the kind of thing your worst uncle would buy for you at the drug store after forgetting your birthdayhttps://t.co/3ahpx3MZaI

It reminds me of the ill-fated Chargers’ logo that the team tried to sell when it moved from San Diego, but then flushed because of fan backlash.
But, hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder or some such, right?
