A couple of St. Louis Rams teammates got together this week and the franchise was the butt of a few jokes.
Former Rams’ face-of-the-franchise Todd Gurley appeared on Chris Long’s Green Light podcast to discuss several things including his release by the Rams last week and subsequently joining the Atlanta Falcons.

Isolation ramblings, rams new logo
- Todd Gurley (27:30)... Who showed up @ his house the day he got cut + will he ditch #30 in the A? His pandemic workout partner?
- Dan Amendola (47:00) on Brady, Lions + the time he puked in my closet https://t.co/T8iVxeM7rl
Gurley and Long were teammates in St. Louis in Gurley’s first season in the NFL and Long’s final season with the franchise back in 2015.
The two former first round picks had a lot of fun the podcast, with Gurley dropping this doozy on Long:
Todd Gurley told Chris Long he’s been checking his direct deposit for his Rams’ check. “Hey, if the new logo can go up, I can get my money,’’ Gurley said. Rams on hook for $7.5 million.

Apparently, Gurley has yet to receive his final check from the Rams after being cut last week. Also, it is clear Gurley is still paying attention to what’s going on with his former team. The Rams, of course, are getting hammered for their new logo, which was released Monday.
Sometimes, getting the last laugh is fun and Gurley is clearly enjoying his chance.
