Jared Goff and Andrew Whitworth donate two million meals in LA

The pair of Rams teammates want to do their part for the community

In the wake of the current coronavirus pandemic, the time to give and help out others is important now, more than it’s ever been. In recent days, more and more news has come out about the governing bodies of different major sports leagues announcing different donations and initiatives they’ve created to make sure people left out in the cold are supported through this work stoppage.

Many prominent players have also come forward to help out their own stadium workers and donate to their local food banks, including Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans. Now you can add Jared Goff and Andrew Whitworth to that list as the pair of Rams players made a huge donation to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank this week. Their donation will provide two million new meals for people in the Los Angeles Area.

Hopefully this is far from the final piece of news regarding donations from players.
