Losing to San Francisco hurt the confidence meter.

The Los Angeles Rams have been really weird lately. Really, really weird, which is why you should sign up for SB Nation Reacts so you have someone to talk to about how weird they are.

They had recent impressive victories over the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but bookended those wins with borderline inexcusable losses to the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers.

The most recent loss — an embarrassing belly flop against a Niners team missing Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle — stuck a steak knife in the heart of Rams fans, and it showed up in the latest Reacts survey.

After fans reported 95% confidence following the Week 11 win against the Bucs, confidence levels dropped to just 52% after Week 12.

Yeesh.

The Rams can partially right the ship this weekend, when they face the Arizona Cardinals. But according to a survey of NFL fans, that won’t happen. Thankfully for the Rams, fans don’t decide the outcome.

But as always, if you’re a Rams fan who wants to try and find a glass half full view, you need look no further than the NFC East, which is a beacon of embarrassment. When NFL fans were asked who they think will come out of that division, 57% picked the Washington Football Team. The Rams may not be favorites in their division, but at least they’re not 4-7.
