The Rams offense will look the slimmest it has all season with quarterback Jared Goff out after having hand surgery, along with wide receiver Cooper Kupp recently being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. There’s also still the chance that leading rusher Darrell Henderson will miss the season finale, as well.
Despite all of that, the Rams still opened up as one-point favorites over the Cardinals, per BetMGM. Former AAF standout John Wolford will make his first NFL start in Goff’s place while the team’s backup will come down to either Blake Bortles, whom the team just signed to the active roster, and rookie UDFA Bryce Perkins.
While the stakes are higher for the Cardinals to get this win in order to make the postseason, the Rams will have all the same motivation to get to double-digit wins and make sure they have a date in the playoffs.
