Random Ramsdom: Josh Gordon ineligible again before Seahawks face Rams

Man, the chronicles of Josh Gordon seem to be a never-ending cycle of reinstatement and indefinite suspension.

Gordon was activated on Monday and that lasted all of one day before it was reported on Tuesday that he “had not satisfied the terms of his conditional reinstatement from suspension.” This means Gordon will be unable to practice this week and he won’t be eligible to play in this week’s contest against the Rams.

It’s not like this really moves the needle at all for either team, but there are still some who are waiting to see if Gordon, who led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards back in 2013, will ever get the chance to play again. It’s been seven long years at this point and it’s actually quite incredible that he’s still pursuing this dream.

At any rate, for those of you who have been following these chronicles for sh**s and giggles, it looks like it may be another offseason before he sees the field again.

The Rams won’t have to worry about an potentially small x-factor this week, after all.
