The LA Rams only had three active players miss Wednesday’s practice: Aaron Donald and Nsimba Webster were out for non-injury reasons, with Donald regularly sitting out Wednesdays. Robert Woods sat out due to a thigh-related injury as a precaution but is not expected to miss Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Rookie linebacker Terrell Lewis, who has missed the last three games with a knee injury, has been a full-go at practice but that does not guarantee that he will be active against the Jets. And if the team wants him to be ready to face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16’s important showdown then that may be another reason for Sean McVay to hold him back against an 0-13 AFC opponent on Thursday.
No offense to Lewis or the Jets, but I do not believe that he will be making the difference in the final score. And while the Rams do not want to overlook any teams, they can still prepare in a way that might keep them just as healthy a week from now as they are today.
