The Los Angeles Rams dominated the New England Patriots on Thursday night at SoFi Stadium, winning 24-3. The win improved the Rams to 9-4, and put them a half game ahead of the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West, while holding the tiebreaker.

With the victory over their LIII opponents, the Rams have now won two games in a row, and four of their last five. They’re starting to find momentum at the most important time.

As has been the case all season long, Los Angeles was powered by a tremendous defensive showing, which made Cam Newton and the Pats look rough all night. Offensively, rookie running back Cam Akers was sensational, while quarterback Jared Goff managed the game nicely and mostly avoided mistakes.

It was one of the best all-around performances of the season for Los Angeles, and reaffirmed their status as contenders in the NFC.

The Rams now have an extra-long week to rest, before hosting the New York Jets on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 1:05 p.m. PT.

The Jets are currently 0-12, and play the Seahawks this weekend.
