The Los Angeles Rams did as well as can be expected in the final two minutes of the first half, forcing the Buccaneers to punt the ball back to them with the score tied, then driving down the field with a perfect amount of time left to kick a field goal. That put the Rams up 17-14 with two quarters left to play.
Jared Goff has already thrown 25 passes and completed 21 of those, gaining 212 yards with two touchdowns. Los Angeles has six carries for only five yards as a team. The leading receiver is Cooper Kupp, who has caught nine passes for 109 yards with many offensive snaps left to go.
Despite allowing 14 points, the Rams defense has held up well against the Bucs offense. Tom Brady is 16 of 24 for 119 yards with one touchdown and many of Tampa’s yards have come via defensive pass interference penalties. Not all of which seemed obviously like penalties. The Bucs have gained 19 rushing yards on 10 carries.
Neither team has a sack. Talk about the second half here!
