After a phenomenal performance on Monday Night Football against the Bears where he placed all five of his punts on the night at or inside the Chicago 10-yard line. That’s absolutely incredible. As a former collegiate punter, myself, I’ve never seen something so close to a special teams player taking over a game like he did on Monday night.

This was Hekker’s fourth time he has won the conference’s special teams player of the week honor. His most-recent win was Week 17 of last year. Hekker joins Micah Kiser (Week 2) and Aaron Donald (Week 5) as other Rams players who have won the weekly honor in 2020.

Now for today’s links.
