The Rams walked away victorious from their Monday Night Football appearance after an impressive performance on both sides of the ball against the Chicago Bears.
The most impressive part of their offensive success was that plenty of different names got in on the fun. In fact, tell me the last time the Rams’ two leading receivers were their fourth-string wide receiver and third-string tight end? Because it happened last night. Josh Reynolds caught four passes for a team-high 52 yards while Johnny Mundt had 47 yards on three receptions.
Despite their win, the Rams stayed put in ESPN’s latest round of power rankings at No. 10. They’re currently one place behind the 4-2 Saints and one spot ahead of the 5-2 Cardinals, who just beat the then-undefeated Seahawks on Sunday night.
I’m not sure if a win over the Dolphins this week could push their ranking any higher, but with a faltering Bills teams ahead of them, there’s a chance for a slight elevation if Buffalo continues to underwhelm.
