While, in reality, it is Friday, it’s Thursday in the Los Angeles Rams’ world as they prepare to host the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
As usual on Thursdays, the team is keeping some players, who are dealing with injuries, out of practice. As they prepare to face the 5-1 and defensively-stout Bears, the Rams are practicing without three key offensive players — running back Darrell Henderson, tight end Tyler Higbee and wide receiver Robert Woods are all not practicing. Yes, that is a lot of firepower in the training room.
But don’t fret, all three players are expected to play. Henderson, who has a thigh issue, and Higbee, who is dealing with a hand injury, were considered more serious than Woods’ issue. He is dealing with a groin injury. Yet, Rams coach Sean McVay said Friday both Henderson and Higbee are expected to play Monday night as is Woods.
We will officially find out their injury status for the game Saturday, but barring a setback, expect all three key offensive cogs to play.
