Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores made the surprise announcement on Tuesday that rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will make his first career start against the Rams on Nov. 1 following Miami’s bye week.
The news comes as a surprise to some as veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick has got the Dolphins in second place in the AFC East while currently on a two-game winning streak. But Flores told the media it’s “the right time” to start Tua, and I’m not going to be the one to doubt the former New England Patriots assistant.
With this move now made, I’m curious. Would you all have preferred to play the Dolphins with Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm or are you, in a way, less worried about facing the Dolphins with Tua under center?
Tell us why or why not in the comments below.
