The San Francisco 49ers took the place of the LA Rams as representing the NFC in the Super Bowl last year and this year the Rams want to return the favor. The 49ers dropped to 2-3 following a blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, but as they are set to host the Rams this Sunday night on NBC, they won’t likely be that easy to topple over.
The 49ers were swept by LA in 2018 and then did the sweeping last season. The 4-1 Rams would like to get a leg up and to keep pace with the 5-0 Seattle Seahawks by getting a win this Sunday.
