Random Ramsdom: Atlanta Falcons shutdown facilities following multiple positive tests

We’re never quite going to be out of the COVID-19 woods it seems as a new NFL team has joined the small group of clubs that have been forced to shut their doors at some point this season.

As of Thursday morning, the Atlanta Falcons have closed their team facility after multiple tests came back positive for the coronavirus.

Atlanta is set to face off against the Vikings this Sunday but with the closure happening this close to game day, I don’t see how there is any way they are able to make it happen as originally scheduled. My money is on it being postponed until at least Monday night, if not Tuesday, to allow the Falcons the chance to get in one more practice/walkthrough before then.

More positives on a new team seem to be a weekly occurrence at this point. The NFL just shuffled a handful of team’s schedules this past week and they may be forced to do it again. The amount of chaos and uncertainty at NFL HQ must be something else right now.

For now, let’s just be thankful nothing has happened to the Rams just yet, and continue praying it stays that way.
