While the Los Angeles Rams are doing their best to be a home team in the NFC playoffs with their 4-1 start, their home of SoFi Stadium is being considered as an NFL playoff base.
The Athletic is reporting that the league is thinking about a postseason bubble plan — similar to those used by other leagues in 2020 — and SoFi Stadium is one of the locations under consideration. Dallas is reportedly one of the other cities the league is considering.

According to the report, the bubble would start after the wild card round, meaning that the plan would start in the divisional playoff round.
While nothing is official, it is not a surprise that the NFL is thinking about using a bubble. The NHL and NBA used a bubble plan in their entire return. MLB is currently using a postseason bubble. Los Angeles and Dallas were/are part of that plan.
The Rams and Chargers likely would not play their games at SoFi Stadium if either team reaches the division round if this idea comes to fruition.
UPDATE: The NFL said. for now, it is not planning on using a bubble at any point, but anything is possible.
On the possibility of a playoff bubble, NFL exec Troy Vincent says "we're proceeding as is" and NFL chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills mentions human, emotional and behavioral health toll of sequestration: "We don’t feel that is the safest course of action for us."
