Sean McVay has been the king of hot starts since being hired by the LA Rams in 2017. That season, the Rams started 3-1 and then reached 7-2. In 2018, 8-0 and 11-1. And in 2019, McVay had the Rams at 3-0 to start the season before losing the next three and eventually finishing 9-7.
McVay wants to avoid that kind of collapse this season obviously and the Football Team is the next challenger. They might not be able to score many points offensively, but Washington ranks third against the pass by DVOA and they’ve been much better on that side of the ball than anyone had predicted.
The Rams are 11-24-1 all time against Washington and the teams last met in Week 2 of McVay’s rookie campaign, a 27-20 victory for the Former-Team-Name. The first loss of McVay’s career. He looks to avenge that day and to get the Rams to 4-1 with a win on Sunday.
Talk about it here.
