Well...that was about as brutal a start to the game as you could imagine for the Los Angeles Rams. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense pretty much had their way with the Rams’ defense, and the Rams’ offense struggled to get anything going until late in the second quarter.
BUT....the Rams rallied late, scoring two touchdowns and converting a field goal to make a game of it.
Unfortunately, the Rams’ defense did allow the Buccaneers to score with less than a minute remaining in the first half. Tampa Bay has scored touchdowns on every single one of their red zone appearances today (4/4). Gotta fix that.
Needless to say, the Rams need more of what they did in the last six minutes of the first half, and a lot less (none) of what they did in the first 24, if they’re to remain undefeated.
