The Los Angeles Rams are on the road in Week 3 to take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football, and they’re feeling a bit of an injury pinch as two starters have been named inactive:

  • OL Austin Blythe
  • OL Bobby Evans
  • DL Greg Gaines
  • TE Tyler Higbee
  • DB David Long Jr.
  • LB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo
  • WR Nsimba Webster

While we knew Higbee would be inactive based on the final injury report on which he was designated “out”, Blythe was listed “questionable” meaning he was a gameday decision. Clearly, he’s not able to go; that likely means OL Jamil Demby will get the start at right guard.

For the Browns, they’ve been dealt a huge blow with all four starting defensive backs inactive tonight:

  • S Morgan Burnett
  • WR Rashard Higgins
  • OL Chris Hubbard
  • OL Kendall Lamm
  • S Damarious Randall
  • CB Denzel Ward
  • CB Greedy Williams

Burnett, Randall, Ward and Williams comprise the Browns’ starting secondary. We’ll see how they rotate to adjust, but suffice to say they’ll be overcompensating to ensure the Rams’ WR trio of Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp doesn’t tear them up.

Time for some Sunday Night Football...
