Goff on quarterback injuries: “You Never Know” | Pro Football Talk
Injuries happen. Jared Goff is keenly aware that it could happen to him.
When even your special teams scares opponents, you know you’re team is legit.
I bet Bake Mayfield is shaking in his cleats. I bet whoever is assigned to cover Cooper Kupp is fearing for his life after the reception and run that Kupp had last week.
Cory Littleton just keep showing up week after week. When he’s not the one making plays, he’s making sure the other team can’t make any either.
HA! I see what they did there.
Teams are dedicating damn near their entire offensive line to blocking #99, creating openings for other players like Dante Fowler and Clay Matthews to get in there and make plays. Does he want to get a sack of his own, sure, but he’s still making a huge difference, even if his personal numbers don’t show it.
Bad News Browns.
We knew the O-Line was going to be a problem this year, the question was always “how big”. So far, it hasn’t been disaster out, but it definitely hasn’t been as good as the last two McVay seasons. The season is still young however, and improvement may be coming. Hopefully soon, before we start seeing Blake Bortles throwing passes.
