The Los Angeles Rams are taking on the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, and it looks like we got great information to close out the preparatory week ahead of the game with a blank injury report in terms of game designations:

2019 Los Angeles Rams Week 2 injury report

Name POS Injury Wed. Status Thu. Status Fri. Status Game Status
Name POS Injury Wed. Status Thu. Status Fri. Status Game Status
Eric Weddle S Concussion Limited Limited Full -
Clay Matthews LB Back DNP Limited Full -
Andrew Whitworth T Not Injury Related - DNP Full -
Michael Brockers DL Shoulder DNP DNP Full -
Todd Gurley II RB Not Injury Related - - DNP -

Phew. DL Michael Brockers was upgraded to full participation after missing the first two days with a shoulder issue, and both S Eric Weddle and LB Clay Matthews were full participants as well. The only player added to the list was RB Todd Gurley who got the day off which will likely be a recurring weekly schedule for him this year.

The Saints have everyone back save for DT Sheldon Rankins:

Marcus Williams S Groin Limited Limited Full -

Craig Robertson LB Hamstring Limited Limited Full -
Ryan Ramczyk T Thigh - Limited Limited -
Sheldon Rankins DT Achilles Limited Limited Limited OUT

Back in August, I wondered if Rankins would be good to go by now. While you never hope for injury and I’d prefer the Rams to beat everyone healthy, I’m not all that upset that the Saints are without one of their better defenders.

Overall, the Rams and Saints go into this one with a pretty clean bill of health.

Next roster impacts will be the seven-man inactive list which will come out about an hour before kickoff on Sunday.
