The Los Angeles Rams have waived DB Dominique Hatfield, OL Aaron Neary and LB Trevon Young with injury settlements:

• DB Dominique Hatfield
• C Aaron Neary
• LB Trevon Young
While the moves aren’t surprising, all three players had potential roles for the team this season though Hatfield and Young didn’t survive the final roster cut having already been placed on IR.
Neary suffered a fractured ankle in the Rams preseason win over the Denver Broncos. As he was already facing a 4-game suspension, Neary’s roster spot was far from guaranteed, but it was believed the Eastern Washington product could compete for the backup center role behind starter Brian Allen.
Hatfield, too, had a shot at the final 53, but ceded his spot to CB Darious Williams. A product of LA’s Crenshaw High School, Hatfield has bounced from the Rams active roster (appearing in 11 games in 2017) to practice squad since being picked up as a UDFA from Utah in 2017.
OLB Trevon Young appeared to have an opportunity as a hybrid OLB/S during his time with the team, appearing in two games in 2018 starting one and recording a fumble recovery. A slew of lingering college injuries have made it difficult for the former Louisville Cardinal to continue his pursuit of an NFL career.
