If you like cringe-worthy shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, this interview is for you. In a case of cringe-on-cringe crime, Colin “TV is clickbait” Cowherd blows clouds of smoke up Jeff Fisher’s ass, who continues to take more credit than he should for the Rams’ resurgence.
Not unlike most stories about Todd Gurley this offseason, not much meat on the bone here. Thankfully, we’ll finally be able to stop the speculation on September 8th.
Taylor Rapp showcases versatility, instincts in Rams debut | Rams Official
In our roster preview, one of our most astute, talented, and observant TST writers wrote:
At UW, Rapp was a very versatile, instinctive player.
Lo and behold, the rook went out and proved somebody right in his debut. SRSLY, though, Rapp’s a first-round talent the Rams absolutely stole in the second round. With S Eric Weddle and rookie CB David Long in the mix, the LA secondary should be much improved this season.
Is it just me, or is McVay heaping it on Belichick juuuuuust a bit too much? I get it. When I get my ass handed to me in beer pong, I praise my opponent so my paltry backhand looks a little bit better. Moving on.
Some interesting grades here. Gaines outperforms SJD. Rookie linemen struggle. And the Rapp-ture continues.
I love the throwback jerseys, but as my guy Sly so astutely says:
Fair enough. It would probably help if had a hole or two to run through or the Rams screen game wasn’t more like a game of hot potato — but the criticism is warranted. I would expect the entire Rams offense to take a quantum leap in preseason game number two.
I’m all for preserving starters during the preseason, and really without playing next to their linemates, do the two second-year starters along the Rams offensive line gain much in the way of continuity? I’d like to see them play, but Coach knows best.
Jared Goff deserves bigger contract than Dak Prescott | Ramblin’ Fan
Given the two QBs collective body of work, it would stand to reason that the Rams QB has earned the higher payday. Scary to hear (likely exaggerated) reports about Dak looking for $40M a season. Scarier still is his owner just might pony up and re-set the market.
