The team over at Pro Football Focus have released their top-50 players heading into the 2019 NFL season, and Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald checks in at number one on their list.

Here’s their tidbit on the back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year:

Donald has single-handedly rewritten the PFF record books. He’s led his position in overall grade and pass-rush grade in every year after his rookie campaign in 2014. And he still ranked second in overall grade and third pass-rush grade as a first-year player five years ago. Four of the five best single-season pass-rush win rates in the PFF era (2006-18) belong to Donald.

There really are no words left to describe the game-wrecking defender who sports #99 for the Rams. A five-time pro bowler, four-time first-team All-Pro, two-time DPOY, NFL sack leader (2018), and Defensive Rookie of the Year, Donald is truly the perfect NFL defender. His game continues to elevate to heights never seen before, as Donald is the first-ever interior defensive lineman to break the 20-sack mark with his 20.5-sack season in 2018. Not only is he dominant all-around, his game seems to elevate to its highest levels when it matters most.

Unblockable. Superstar. Future Hall of Famer.

Those are just some of the words that are routinely used to describe the Rams’ menace wearing #99.
