The Los Angeles Rams are looking for a Kupp to step up this offseason for a boost.
No, not wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
His brother, linebacker Ketner Kupp.
The Rams have signed Cooper’s little brother as a rookie undrafted free agent today.

Ketner originally headed toward the San Francisco 49ers after the 2019 NFL Draft but was unable to earn a contract. Now, he joins the Rams’ 90-man roster and his brother at the tail end of Phase II of the offseason program. So when Phase III opens next week and organized team activities get going, we should get to see the younger Kupp in action.
Ketner played with Cooper at Eastern Washington where he locked in as the strongside inside linebacker. If he’s got a shot at sticking though, it will likely have to be for special teams contributions. So more important than Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips’ impressions of him will be Special Teams Coordinator John Fassel’s. If Ketner can stick into training camp, he’s sure to be a fan favorite along with his brother.
