After an extremely active second day that involved Les Snead moving the Los Angeles Rams all over the board to get their guys, we enter the final day of the 2019 NFL Draft. The Rams have already selected:
- Round 2 (61 overall) - Washington safety Taylor Rapp
- Round 3 (70 overall) - Memphis running back Darrell Henderson
- Round 3 (79 overall) - Michigan cornerback David Long
- Round 3 (97 overall) - Oklahoma Offensive Lineman Bobby Evans
Wouldn’t you know it, the Rams traded up again to fill a need along the defensive front. They used pick 134 to select DT Greg Gaines from the University of Washington. The Rams traded picks 162 and 167 to the New England Patriots for picks 134 and 243.
Gaines (6’1”, 312) was not listed on SB Nation’s resident draft expert Dan Kadar’s list of Top 200 prospects. You can find his draft profile here from the SB Nation Washington Football affiliate, UW Dawg Pound.
How are you grading this selection for the Rams? (The poll below will be stripped out on Google AMP and Apple News, but feel free to leave your grade/thoughts in the comments section)
