POLL, 2019 NFL Draft Results: Grading the Los Angeles Rams’ selection of Memphis RB Darrell Henderson

Oh my...

NCAA Football: Tulsa at Memphis Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been an interesting start to the evening for the Los Angeles Rams. Originally slated to make their first pick on Day 2 with the 45th overall selection, the Rams ultimately agreed to two more trade downs before making their first selection — taking Washington safety Taylor Rapp with the 61st overall pick.

Scheduled to make their next pick at 79, the Rams traded up (with Tampa Bay) to No. 70 to select Memphis RB Darrell Henderson. In order to do so, the Rams coughed up two 3rd round picks: 94 and 99.

It’s pretty clear, despite anything you were told, heard, or read, that there’s serious concern that Todd Gurley will be 100% in the upcoming year.

SB Nation’s resident draft expert Dan Kadar has Henderson listed as his No. 71 overall player on his Top 200 list of prospects.

Biggest strength: A bouncing bowling ball of a running back, Henderson averaged 8.2 yards per carry at Memphis due to his impressive agility and balance.

Biggest weakness: Henderson isn’t a power runner who will knock tacklers over.

How are you grading this selection for the Rams? (The poll below will be stripped out on Google AMP and Apple News, but feel free to leave your grade/thoughts in the comments section)
