The Los Angeles Rams traded yet again, this time with the New England Patriots.
The Rams sent #45 to the Pats for #56 and #101.
The Pats quickly used the pick for Vanderbilt Commodores CB Joejuan Williams who I actually mocked to the Rams earlier today.
Clearly, Rams General Manager Les Snead likes the picks at the 100 or so mark more than the group from 30-50. He’s now stacked up a trio from 94-101 with two picks between 50 and 80.
We’ll have to see what kind of quality comes out of the picks, but he’s clearly prioritizing quantity this weekend. It’s easy to understand why given the quality already on the Rams’ roster and the need to plug some current and future roster gaps.
With availability on the offensive line and at every position on defense, the Rams have plenty of flexibility on how they can manage their draft capital tonight.
Don’t assume this is the last trade for Lester P., though...
