Happy NFL Draft day, Los Angeles Rams fans! It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for. The Rams are currently slated to make the 31st pick on Thursday night (yay for success!), which adds a little bit of a different feel, especially if you’re a long-time fan — it’s been some time since we’ve had to wait so late into Day 1.
But that’s not to say that tonight’s selection won’t be exhilarating for many, and it could potentially go down as someone’s fondest Rams’ draft memory.
How about you? Do you remember the moment you were most excited that the Rams selected a player — despite whether that pick actually panned out over the long term? Where were you? Who were you with? And is there a player in the 2019 NFL Draft that might create such a moment for you?
Share that moment with us, as some on twitter have:
Bradford or Tavon. I was pretty excited for both, least exciting was Gurley. I feel different now but that's that.

I remember being really excited when we picked Lawrence Phillips

I was really happy when we took Alec Ogletree

Sam Bradford. I thought we were set for 15 years!

Torry Holt... people thought it was a toss up between him and David Boston at the time which is laughable in hindsight

Probably Laurinaitis (@JLaurinaitis55) at the top of the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Really fell in love with him during the pre-draft process.

Aaron Donald. I was sitting in a college computer science class streaming the draft, upset that we just drafted Robinson, thinking there's no way this beast makes it to 13. But teams just kept skipping over him ♂️

1993–with the 10th pick the Rams select Jerome Bettis. 3 years later we want to turn him into a FB to block in front of Phillips. ♂️

Tavon

Steven Jackson for sure, I went to the same high school as him and I went to a few of his football camps during the summer growing up. Also being a huge Marshall Faulk fan it made the transition a little easier, felt like I was trading one football idol for another.

Two moments.

Mr @seattlerams_nfl praying for 99 to be selected and then celebrating with Patron.
Watching my fav Ram 39, call in the Cooper Kupp pick while I was on the phone with my dad. We were both in shock that the dude who kicked my Griz ass for years was in horns.
