Oh boy. One of the biggest and most awaited matchups of the season is set to kickoff early into the year.

If you’re a Los Angeles Rams fan, or if you’re a New Orleans Saints fan, or if you’re a fan of the NFL.... well, then this game is for you. The Rams and Saints are scheduled to play each other in the 2019 regular season in week two, per Nick Underhill:

The game is scheduled to be played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 1:25 p.m. PT.

After a tough fought regular season matchup — and a Saints win in high-scoring fashion — in 2018, a minor rivalry started brewing among these two clubs. From the chatter of CB Marcus Peters, to the antics of WR Mike Thomas, and the loud-mouth of Saints Head Coach Sean Payton, tempers were rising.

Luckily for fans of the league, the Rams and Saints were once again scheduled to play, though this time the stakes were at an all-time high. The NFC Championship game was an all-out war which seen the Rams win — by way of an interesting missed call — a tightly contested matchup. The win berthed the Rams a spot in Super Bowl 53, while the Saints were shocked and stunned at a missed call they believed to be the difference (it wasn’t).

Now, in 2019, the Rams and Saints are set to kickoff against each other once again. After a regular season meeting in 2017, a preseason game, a regular season game, and a playoff game in 2018, there’s sure to be a rivalry to ensue moving forward.

All receivers, beware.... Nickell Robey-Coleman is creepin’.
