Another day, another pre-draft visit. This time its TCU Horned Frogs edge L.J. Collier who is set to visit the Los Angeles Rams, per Drew Davison:
TCU’s L.J. Collier has Top 30 visits set up with Bears, Vikings, Chiefs, Cowboys, Dolphins, Lions, Eagles, Seahawks, Titans and Rams.

Collier is a senior prospect who spent four years at TCU racking up a total of 82 tackles, 20.5 tackles-for-loss, and 14.5 sacks. Collier was an average-at-best tester at the NFL Scouting Combine, though athleticism was never really his game. Collier is a powerful defensive end who has endless power in his punch and uses his strength to beat offensive tackles.
NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein projects Collier as a second-round pick, though there’s been whispers among league circles that Collier could land in the first-round when it’s all said and done.
Collier probably doesn’t project perfectly into a 3-4 defense as he’s better suited to have his hand in the dirt, though the transition has been made before (even for guys who are better suited one way or the other). Collier is also a senior prospect who participated at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
