With all the offensive players done at the NFL Scouting Combine, the real meat and potatoes of the draft hit the field in Lucas Oil Stadium today. The defensive line and linebackers are running through on-field workouts with the defensive backs going through interviews and the bench press:
2019 NFL Scouting Combine - Day 6 Schedule:
Group: Group 7 (DL), Group 8 (DL), Group 9 (LB)
Status: On-Field Workout (timing, stations, drills) | Departure from Indianapolis
Group: Group 10 (DB), Group 11 (DB)
Status: Psychological Testing | NFLPA Meeting | Media | Bench Press | Interviews
Players to watch:
Alabama Crimson Tide DT Quinnen Williams
Williams might be the best prospect at the draft as his unique blend of power, quickness, and smarts allow him to wreak havoc on defenses all over. He’s got a chance to work his way into the #1 overall pick in the draft today.
Ohio State Buckeyes DE Nick Bosa
We haven’t seen Bosa in months, though many believe he could also be the #1 selection. It’ll be fun to see him get back out there and show off his athleticism.
Florida State Seminoles OLB Brian Burns
Burns could be an option for the Rams at pick #31, though he’s not likely to last that long. He’s a long, bendy, and athletic edge rusher who should perform very well today.
