Recently hired Cincinnati Bengals’ Head Coach Zac Taylor has begun assembling his coaching staff, and one of his targets is the Los Angeles Rams’ cornerbacks coach, Aubrey Pleasant:

It is not yet known whether or not the Rams will block or allow Pleasant to seek a promotion with the Bengals, though it is certain they’d like to retain Pleasant as a coach because of his quality and future within the league.
Pleasant initially spent four years with the Washington Redskins as a Offensive Assistant Coach/Coaching Intern, a Defensive Quality Control Coach, and now a CB’s coach in Los Angeles. Pleasant was a guy that Head Coach Sean McVay brought along with him to L.A. from Washington, so it’s a possibility that the Rams actually block the potential interview.
It’s also been speculated that Pleasant may have a spot as a Defensive Coordinator in L.A. once current Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips retires.
