The Los Angeles Rams dispatched of the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14, 28-12.

The Minnesota Vikings, though, also dealt with the Detroit Lions with ease, 20-7.

Those two outcomes set up the threshold for the NFC playoff picture coming out of Week 14:

We’re yet again hoping for the Vikings to open the door with a loss, but that potential grows in likelihood moving forward with games against the Los Angeles Chargers, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears on the docket.

The bigger impetus for the Rams remains behind the need to beat the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.

The Rams made a statement against the Seahawks last night. Statement accepted.

Now though, the Rams need a bit of help from Minnesota to open the door to climb back into the picture. Perhaps that comes about in Week 15.

If so, the Rams need to be ready to meet the challenge in Dallas to take advantage.
