NFL Week 14 early live thread

Here’s what’s on tap early.

New Orleans Saints at San Francisco 49ers

Detroit Lions (3-8-1) at Minnesota Vikings (8-4)

1pm ET/10am PT, FOX

Taking this to the top since here’s where Los Angeles Rams fans’ primary interests lie. A road win for Detroit gives us the chance to carry our playoff hopes across the threshold.

Go Lions.

Carolina Panthers (5-7) at Atlanta Falcons (3-9)

1pm ET/10am PT, FOX

Perhaps the saddest NFC South clash in recent memory.

Baltimore Ravens (10-2) at Buffalo Bills (9-3)

1pm ET/10am PT, CBS

This is set up to be the best Ravens-Bills game of all time.

Cincinnati Bengals (1-11) at Cleveland Browns (5-7)

1pm ET/10am PT, CBS

This is not set up to be the best Bengals-Browns game of all time.

Washington Team (3-9) at Green Bay Packers (9-3)

1pm ET/10am PT, FOX

If the Pack haven’t put this to bed by halftime, condemn them. Weird cult-y condemnation. “Shame! How dare! Forsooth!”

San Francisco 49ers (10-2) at New Orleans Saints (10-2)

1pm ET/10am PT, FOX

Gross.

Miami Dolphins (3-9) at New York Jets (4-8)

1pm ET/10am PT, CBS

Gross. But for other reasons.

Indianapolis Colts (6-6) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7)

1pm ET/10am PT, CBS

What the hell is this game? This might be the weirdest matchup of recent memory. Both of these teams are strange in and of their own right. Against one another in December, this is two teams who have little to do with another trying to triangulate their 2020 offseasons a couple weeks early.

Denver Broncos (4-8) at Houston Texans (8-4)

1pm ET/10am PT, CBS

It seems unfair to ask Texans QB Deshaun Watson for more. In all likelihood, that won’t be required here.

Los Angeles Chargers (4-8) at Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8)

4:05pm ET/1:05pm PT, FOX

Sad one here for two teams that a couple of months ago were hoping to be in the playoff picture at this point.

Tennessee Titans (7-5) at Oakland Raiders (6-6)

4:25pm ET/1:25pm PT, CBS

Actual playoff implications for both!

Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) at New England Patriots (10-2)

4:25pm ET/1:25pm PT, CBS

Massive game here with a ton on the line for playoff seeding.

Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5) at Arizona Cardinals (3-8-1)

4:25pm ET/1:25pm PT, CBS

Funky one here. Pittsburgh is firmly in the AFC playoff mix while the Cardinals are certainly not in the NFC. QB Kyler Murray might enjoy playing spoiler today.
