The Los Angeles Rams come out of the bye to hit the road and take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10.

The initial injury report offers some concerns about which players might not be available:

Hopefully, the extra rest will allow RB Malcolm Brown to rejoin his running mates. No idea how Head Coach Sean McVay will use his three-pronged RB depth chart though. It sounds like LB Clay Matthews is close to a return after breaking his jaw back in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks. The concerns over WR Brandin Cooks are legitimate. He’s seen a second specialist and has already been ruled out for this one.

The Steelers’ injury report was a bit lengthier:

Here’s what they had to say about it over at Behind the Steel Curtain, the SB Nation community for Steelers fans:

As expected, Benny Snell Jr. did not practice on Wednesday as he was ruled out by head coach Mike Tomlin in Tuesday’s press conference. While the team is hopeful James Conner will progress throughout the week, he was able to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday. Trey Edmunds was unable to go on Wednesday as he is dealing with injured ribs. Additionally, Roosevelt Nix is still hampered with his knee injury which kept him out of five games this season as he did not take the field on Wednesday.

Ramon Foster is still moving through the concussion protocol and was limited in practice on Wednesday. Both Foster and the Steelers expect him to be available on Sunday. A surprise player to the injury list was wide receiver and kick returner Ryan Switzer who did not practice due to a back injury.

There were three additional players who did not participate in Wednesday’s practice as a coaches decision. Center Maurkice Pouncey, linebacker Mark Barron, and tight and Vance McDonald all were given the day off. Pouncey was recovering from an injury last week so he was not listed as a coaches decision although he has been taking off the first practice of each week all season.
